How can the Sitka Business Resource Center help you?

Business Advisor Mim McConnell with Michelle Fleming of Harbor Transcribing
Imagine... having an office in downtown Sitka, with space
to work on your business or meet with customers...

...an up-to-date office...

The office is furnished with up-to-date equipment, including both Macintosh and PC computers, networked to an HP laser printer and an Epson inkjet color printer.

...a place to work...

From the office you can send and receive faxes, use the copy machine, make phone calls, check your e-mail and have high-speed DSL access to the internet for on-line research.

...people to help...

SBRC staff are eager to provide you with free business counseling, assist you in planning and starting your business or marketing plan, or help you manage your business related paperwork. They also offer referrals to other professionals who can help make your business a success.

...building your team...

Most business owners need help operating their businesses. The SBRC can help you find your management team, such as a bookkeeper, accountant, attorney, etc. Many local business people have contributed to SBRC programs by providing training, consultations and/or reduced rates for their services.

...professional help...

Being a participant at the SBRC gives you the opportunity to have face-to- face meetings with Erik Stewart, Business Counselor at the Juneau Economic Development Council, when he comes to the office several times a year for workshops and counseling.
