Business Workshops and Classes
Six-Week
Business Start-Up Class
Several Six-Week Business Start-Up classes were held through the Sitka Business Resource Center project.

These are some of the students in the last Six-Week Business Start-Up class conducted by Sitka Works, February-March 2008, along with instructor, Sheila Finkenbinder. While in Sitka, Jackie Stewart, Juneau Small Business Development Center Director, offered workshops on "Starting Up a Business" and "Financing Your Business".
Business workshops covered topics such as: Marketing, Bookkeeping, Business planning, Employment laws, Negotiating skills, Manufacturing issues, and Taxes.
